With PlayStation - and Sony as a whole - being a Japanese-based business, you can imagine it's a little strange to see their blow-out event 'PlayStation Experience' being a mostly Western-oriented affair. So with that behind us, it's time for Japan to get a little something as the company is presenting Koei Tecmo's 'Greatest Lineup in History' event later this month.
All the marketing material for the big show is understandable heavy on the Japanese, but those interested in Koei Tecmo's products will be able to see a good chunk of their upcoming catalogue during the December 17 livestream. We just have to hope on some PC news.
Titles on show will include the likes of Team Ninja's Samurai slasher 'Nioh', Gust Brand's beautiful 'Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions and Winning Post 8 2017. While there's a couple more to make note of down below, it's predominantly featuring franchises either popular in Japan or upcoming RPGs sure to catch their attention.
There's already plenty of footage for Berserk, but it never hurts to watch Guts slice through the opposition again.
There's still plenty of room for new announcements, however, as it isn't often Koei Tecmo takes to a stage of their own. There should be time to show off more from 'Berserk & The Band Of The Hawk' and maybe throw out a new Dynasty Warriors announcement. Other hopefuls include a new Dead or Alive title and the hopeful return of Ninja Gaiden from a NeoGAF user with Ryu Hayabusa as their avatar.
Of course, there's plenty of other offerings Koei Tecmo could throw out there as a curveball. Tecmo Bowl being one of them. If there's anything specific you're hoping for, make it known down below.
