Valve released info today to a handful sites that a compilation of VR experiences would be unveiled at GDC.
The Lab, as this collection is called, is set in “a pocket universe of Aperture Science,” and will be available for free on Steam later this year. The demos will be shown first at GDC, which this year runs March 14-18.
The HTC Vive is the Steam VR platform of note, and it differentiates itself from the Oculus Rift by offering not just head-tracking, but ”full room experience.” Valve has already released a similar demo in the form of an Aperture Science demo that formed the SteamVR performance test.
