Greetings, GameWatchers! Today we’ve got gameplay video from an incredible-looking indie title called Kingdom: New Lands. The game has you in control of a would-be monarch, and as you ride along the 2D plane you’ll start building a castle, an army, and a kingdom, getting resources and manpower together to protect your people and expand your borders.
Kingdom released last year to a very positive response, and New Lands is a standalone sequel featuring new content and locations. We spent 20 minutes with the game to give you a feel for what you’ll do and how you’ll explore the world, and to get a glimpse of its gorgeous pixel art. Kingdom: New Lands is out August 9.
