We hope you're prepared to say goodbye to the bat, as Batman: The Telltale Series comes to a close next week with the release of Episode 5 on December 13.
Titled 'City of Light' we're led to believe all the issues of Gotham will be resolved and we'll be looking at a recovering, brighter future for the crime-infested city. But it's unlikely. Gotham is Gotham, after all.
"Speaking about the new episodes itself, Telltale said "The leader of the Children of Arkham prepares to execute the final act of a plan to destroy the Wayne family name, and the people closest to you are in their path of vengeance. Can Batman's ultimate secret be kept—his very identity—when it is causing chaos and death in Gotham? The fate of the Wayne family and of the city itself rests on your choices. What will you do? How far will you go? Which mask will you wear?"
Feeling a little confused? Why not take a look at the episode 4 trailer to jog your memory before episode 5?
Also coming with next week's episode update is host of performance changes and tweaks for the PC version of the game. It'll now auto-assign the recommended settings for your rig but include more control for if you're not happy with their choices. Either way, the game should run more smoothly across the board with a few optimisations being slipped in for good measure.
And for those who have yet to enter Gotham, the first episode is now free through Steam. We're starting to see a recurring pattern with the episodic titles lately. Apparently we don't get a trailer this time around. Not yet, anyway.
