Last October, Bigben Interactive announced the eighth game in the Sherlock Holmes series, The Devil’s Daughter. The studio has now announced that the game will be hitting shelves on May 17th.
In the game, players will be taking on the role of Holmes, as the game features a free-roaming exploration of Victorian London. ”Playing as the great detective, they will have to track down evil in the darkest corners of London and the human spirit, freely exploring several neighbourhoods in the city in search of clues and suspects while they untangle a web of intrigue leading to the final stunning revelation,” explains the developer.
The game also adds a new twist to gameplay, as Holmes’ uncanny analytical powers and stoicism ”will be shaken by emotion as he is caught between family, dark forces and powerful thirsts for vengeance.”
