A few years ago, indie developer Ludosity Interactive released a charming little The Legend of Zelda parody called Ittle Dew, with all of the classic’s gameplay and aesthetics. Now, a bigger, more content rich sequel has been announced by publisher Nicalis.
”Ittle and Tippsie crash onto yet another island filled with loot, puzzles and mysterious inhabitants!” states Ludosity. ”With the help of a magical map, they set out to steal eight pieces of a raft from increasingly improbable locations including beaches, prairies, an art exhibit and some dude’s basement.”
The game promises ”even more polish (now in 3D!), new content, improved gameplay and tighter character control”, as players explore more of the retro-style world. It now features seven dungeons, which can be tackled in any order the player wants. Players can find hidden special items that will unlock secret shortcuts; the four weapons even double as puzzle solving items. Finding “Secret Shards” will unlock even more dungeons.
