Excited about the Euros starting today? Paradox Interactive are giving you the opportunity to introduce football-themed content (real football, not that American rubbish) to your cities. The DLC (titled Match Day) is absolutely free, giving you the experience of trying to run a major sporting event in your city.
Here is everything the Match Day DLC includes:
• Colosseum Order: Build a stadium in your city and become the home of a major sports franchise
• Read the Match Notes: Prepare for increased traffic coming to and from your arena on match day – and reap the rewards from ticket revenue
• Team Workshop: Customize your local team colours and enact new stadium-related policies
• A New Hat for Chirper: YEAH there is
Paradox and Colossal Order are also celebrating the latest patch to Cities: Skylines which comes with a lot of fixes and updates. The patch unlocks five custom in-game items that were previously restricted to pre-orders. In addition to this, the developers are also giving all players access to the Carousel, Dog Park, Bouncy Castle, Basketball Court, and Botanical Garden in-game.
