Each piece of Just Cause 3’s DLC is best summed up with the new toys it gives you. Sky Fortress gave you a jetpack that turns Rico into a human jet fighter. Mech Land Assault gave you a big military robot. And now, Bavarium Sea Heist is giving you an artillery-equipped boat and a gun that shoots lightning. It’s a shame that the DLC plan is wrapping up before we started getting UFOs and dubstep guns.
You’ll take on a new set of story missions set on the coastal waters of Scolio, where you’ll see the Eden Research stations and infiltrate the Stingray base. The rocket boat “Loochador” will help you do battle with the Black Hand Fleet, and deep inside the Stingray base you’ll find the Eden Spark, a lightning gun that will let you unleash elemental power on the bad guys.
“Our aim with the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass was to completely alter the way players tackle the game and we’ve achieved just that,” said Marcus Andrews, Lead Designer of the DLC. “Each of the three packs of new tools allows the player to wreak havoc in fresh, creative, and unique ways that ensures both new and existing fans of Just Cause 3 will have hours of additional content and an enormous number of ways to approach any situation.”
Bavarium Sea Host launches August 11 for $5.99/€5.99/£4.99. The Expansion Pass containing all three pieces of DLC is available for $24.99/€24.99/£19.99.
