Spanning a creative, if long-winded, ARG going all the way back to June, Overwatch fans are, yet again, certain they're nearing the reveal of the shooter's newest hero - Sombra.
Though players of the ARG have used their brains to suss out the recent countdown's likely October 18 conclusion, the supposed leak of an internal design document is setting off red lights within the community for either being the real deal or another elaborate hoax.
Posted on the Overwatch Reddit stemming from the Russian Overwatch group, the clipped screenshot suggests the 'notorious hacker' is due this month.
By piecing together what's hinted through the image's cropped paragraphs, the Halloween update will already be taking place when Sombra finally lands - leading many to believe she certainly is coming 'sooner rather than later' as suggested by a Blizzard employee in July.
While it's certainly still just wishful thinking, it's one of more believable situations to arise over the mysterious new character.
