French indie developer, Enigami, have released new screenshots showing the incredible environments in their latest game – Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is an action-RPG that promises to take you on a “journey through an enthralling universe”. You’ll have to be careful, as the universe is on the verge of collapsing due to the fragmentation of planet Mahera.
These screenshots detail the world of Mahera and its various environments. The world of Shiness is centred on the Meonis Plains. One of the key places in the plains is Shjue Village, it’s in the village that players can purchase an Amos beast (a mount). This allows your character, Chado, and his friends to traverse the plains quickly in order to get from place to place quickly.
There’s a lot of words in those paragraphs that you may not understand, but the game does sound really cool. The combat mixes magic with fighting game mechanics, so you can expect to see things like parrying and combos. With promising combat and such nice looking environments, this game should be on your radar.
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom releases in 2016. The platforms have not been announced at this time.
