With the beta opening up early last month, Trion Worlds decided to enact the Starfall Prophecy - the newest expansion within the RIFT MMO - in time for the holiday period. Patch your game and head on in!
Taking level-capped denizens of Telara out onto the Comet of Ahnket to fight a force the devs believe themselves to have "hit the right note of alien and sentient construct" when it comes to design, the level cap has been pushed up to 70 and there's plenty of new legendary abilities to help squeeze out some additional damage for when the dedicated raid is patched in at a later date.
While the vast majority of features planned for the Starfall Prophecy expansion have managed to make it into the game, Fortress Sieges and the new Looking for Raid function apparently need a little more time in the oven.
To tide you over, the team are committed to delivering the usual schedule of holiday events, with Fae Yule planned to make its return over the festive period. Sieges, a new raid and Dead Simon's Devious Puzzles are penciled in as post-launch additions.
