Hopefully you've read our Civilization VI preview and locked in your 'Day One' Aztec enabler before it's too late. If so, you'll probably enjoy the new launch trailer with the smooth vocals of everyone's favorite Yorkshire man - Sean Bean.
If not, you've still got a couple more days to go with the game unlocking at different times across 3 'zones' on October 21. If watching Bean's bearded character fly through the ages isn't enough to convince you of a quick buy, you'll just have to wait on our review - but don't expect to be playing as the Aztecs for a few months if that's the case.
The trailer itself highlights the specific eras you'll soon take your people through during a lengthy round of the popular turn-based strategy title.
While there's evidently a lot changing this time around, it's still more or less the same Civilization game many have come to love over the years - just with a softer art style and Pixar-like character animations.
Split into the 3 similar timezones, Europe will see the Steam title unlock at 12am BST October 21 (midnight) while those in the Americas get a similar midnight release tailored to Eastern Time. Asian territories, however, will be sitting around until 3AM AEDT unless they just opt to get a good nights sleep.
