Square Enix has announced that it has negotiated successfully with Milestone S.r.l, on a deal for the publishing rights to hardcore racing sim Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO in both North America and Latin America; the deal also includes future racing titles by Milestone in 2016.
According to a press release by Square Enix, ”Per the terms of the agreement, Milestone will manage all aspects of game development, while Square Enix will oversee distribution and marketing in both territories. Additional Milestone racing games are scheduled to release through Square Enix in 2016.”
Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO is a realistic rally racing sim that revolves around the titular Loeb, who is, according to many fans in the rally racing world, one of the most iconic figures in the history of the sport. Players will be able to recreate his racing career in a special career mode.
The game also features ”the largest roster of rally cars on the market”, with over 50 models produced by twenty car manufacturers from around the world. The included vehicles range from those released in the 1960’s to present day. ”Each vehicle has been carefully recreated in order to ensure realistic simulation and authentic performance.”
Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO will be available on Steam on the 29th January 2016. Gamers can pre-order the game from the store page here.
