Might and Delight has announced a standalone expansion/spinoff to their lynx simulator Shelter 2. Paws returns to that world as the player takes on the role of a lost baby lynx who has to find her way home.
”As the world of Shelter continues to grow, so has the opportunity to expand on the experiences and variety of stories we can tell,” explained CEO Anders Westin. ”We’ve also been hugely inspired by the feedback and continued support of our fans, who have shown a clear indication to delve further into the Shelter universe,”
According to Westin, Paws is actually a story about friendship, overcoming odds, and ”finding the strength to overcome overwhelming odds.” To a baby lynx, it’s a big scary world.
Paws will be released on Steam and brick-and-mortar retail on March 24th. The Special Edition will come with the digital soundtrack by Retro Family.
