Microsoft and Moon Studios have today confirmed that Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will definitively launch on PC on April 27th. Huzzah!
Originally tipped for a release in early March, the Definitive Edition brings not only new abilities to the table for our titular protagonist to use, but an entirely new area, Black Root Burrows, to explore too.

A PC and Xbox One exclusive, players will actually have two ways to purchase the game. For those who don’t own the game yet they can buy the entire package at retail, while those folks who are merely looking to upgrade the base version of the game only have to set aside $4.99 to get all the new content.
Indeed, all indications are that the Definitive Edition of Ori and the Blind Forest looks to put an exclamation mark on what was already one of the most visually entrancing and mechanically nuanced platformers of last year.
