Indie developer Robot Invasion has announced that its first person murder mystery adventure, Dead Secret, will be available on Steam this coming March 28th for $14.99. VR support will also be included for the Oculus Rift.
Dead Secret allows players to be an ambitious junior reporter investigating the murder of a recluse named Harris Bullard, whose dead body was found in his study five days ago. ”To get the story you’ll have to comb the crime scene for clues and decipher the mystery of Bullard’s twisted past. Uncover secret documents, explore the dead man’s home, and piece together the puzzle to correctly name the killer.” However, curiosity killed the cat, and the player will soon find someone is out there to make sure Bullard’s secrets are never uncovered.
Players will be scouring Bullard’s home looking for clues, solving puzzles and collecting evidence along the way. They’ll discover his strange inventions that are able to explore the subconscious of their wielders. If that weren’t enough, there are five different endings, based on the choices the player made during the story.
