Thanks to Sega and Creative Assembly, you can experience the 360-degree interactive Total War: WARHAMMER trailer… if you own one of those fancy VR headsets, or even one of those super cheap Cardboard headsets.
Here are Sega’s instructions to get you up and running:
Visit the YouTube link here and either:
1) Click and drag your view of the battlefield on desktop (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Internet Explorer).
2) Use the YouTube or Facebook app on your mobile as a virtual window, and pan your view around (note that this is currently the only way to experience the 360 functionality on your mobile).
3) Select VR view from the YouTube App and drop your phone into Google Cardboard.
Last week, iPhone users gained the ability to watch VR content using Google Cardboard in the YouTube app. If you happen to own an iPhone but haven’t felt the need to buy a Google Cardboard device, maybe now would be the best time to pick one up.
If you haven’t done so already, make sure you check out our review of Total War: WARHAMMER. Dustin Bailey scored the game an excellent 8.5 out of 10. Here’s his verdict of the game: “Despite performance quibbles and a repetitive endgame for the campaign, Total War: Warhammer is an exciting strategy game that stands on its own. The four factions offer unique playstyles with compelling strategic options, and the hero units, fantastic creatures, and monstrous enemies make for spectacular battles that are almost as much fun to watch as they are to command.”
Total War: WARHAMMER will release tomorrow (May 24th) on PC. Click here to get to the Games Republic page.
