Updated - 24/08/2016 - The upcoming DLC has been officially announced, with a trailer showing off the new content. The expansion takes place in the frozen land of Ariandel, challenging players to uncover the terrible secret which has corrupted the land.
“With hours of new challenges, new bosses, new mysterious locations to explore, new items to obtain, and new ways to challenge other players online, it’s the perfect time to jump back into one of the best games of 2016.” said Eric Hartness of Bandai Namco.
Ashes of Ariandel will be available October 25 for $14.99.
Original Story - 23/08/2016 - We’re expecting some more details tomorrow, but it seems that we should expect the first piece of Dark Souls III DLC very soon. Titled Ashes of Ariandel, it’s expected to launch on October 25.
According to reveals from Japanese game magazines, brought to us by Siliconera, the content will feature new magic and weapons, as well as a PvP map. The content will launch in Japan on October 26.
