The latest piece of content for Total War: Warhammer is nearly here, bringing with it a host of new units for both the Empire and the Vampire Counts, adding another chapter to the storied war between the forces of humanity and the undead.
The Vampire Counts get a new Legendary Lord with Helman Ghorst, and can recruit the dangerous Strigoi Ghoul King as a standard lord. The vampiric armies will also be expanding their forces with new units, including the Corpse Cart and the Mortis Engine, bringing their dark magic to the selection of vampiric war engines.
The Empire can now be led by the legendary Volkmar the Grim, and lords can be recruited from the hallowed ranks of Arch Lectors. The mounted Knights of the Blazing Sun will also take the fight to the vampires, along with the Flagellants and the pistol-wielding Free Company Militia. Both factions will also enjoy special unit variants with the Regiments of Renown.
The Grim & the Grave will launch on September 1. In addition to the paid content, a free update will add vampiric Legendary Lord Vlad Von Carstein, who can grant vanguard deployment to all units under his command, as well as five new battle maps.
