How they keep turning up is anyone's guess, but if you're impatiently looking forward to next year's inevitable Battlefront sequel, you may want to see what Free Radical had cooking up for the official 'Battlefront 3'.
Back in the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era we had our first taste of taking part in the massive land battles portrayed across the Star Wars legacy. The ambitious projects were much like DICE's own work with Battlefield - creating massive war brawls at a time when hardware resources were just about permitting it.
So with the company managing the feat twice in a row, you can bet everyone was eagerly anticipating their third attempt as the new console generation began to roll around. But sadly, for whatever reason, it wasn't to be. Star Wars Battlefront 3 fizzled from existance. But over the course of the year, we've been seeing more of what it was shaping up to be.

It's been three months since the release of the last video showing off the game's tutorial 'training' sequences. This one, however, throws us into a near-complete demonstration of the game's first mission. We can only imagine 'FuZaH' - who's YouTube channel is providing these glimpses - managed to get their hands on the game's incomplete package and is slowly piecing it back into a somewhat playable build. It explains the sound quality, at least.
It's fascinating to see something like this return from the grave. But it's merely a husk of what was to form a trilogy. We'll likely never see the bigger picture here.
