With the launch week Gears of War 4 Double EXP event regrettably going the way of the dodo after a slight extension - likely due to server woes - The Coalition have boosted the amount of credit and experience points you regularly earn through the playlist most were already farming for the goods - Horde Mode.
"We have shifted total credit earn rates to tie a bit more in with finishing the waves and less on finishing consecutive waves," the update continues. "This is to help players not feel as if they are being punished for trying higher difficulties and not always making it to 50." says a Coalition representative on the official forums.
So basically, for anyone who has been running wave after wave of Horde Mode across any difficulty and with just about anyone you can think of, you may have noticed increased rewards thrown around over the weekend. They're there whether you noticed them or not.
In a sneakier update, they've also increased the individual EXP earned on each class, too. Exact numbers are not available at present.
Now back to the front-line with you! Those Prowlers want to stretch their legs.
