Celebrating a four-fold increase of sales over its predecessor, Shadow Warrior 2 developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital have released a short behind-the-scenes video showing the final moments of development on the well-received sequel.
If you decided to play the original 2013 Shadow Warrior reboot, you'll already be aware of Lo Wang and his dangerous adventures. Dragging out his interesting combination of weaponry yet again, Shadow Warrior 2 has the soldier casting down demons with some bizarre yet powerful magicks.
Speaking from Poland, Michal Szustak, studio director over at Flying Wild Hog cites how "We could not be happier with the reception of Shadow Warrior 2,". "We're a small studio with only about 75 people, and each of us poured our hearts and souls into making a bigger, different experience for Shadow Warrior 2. That our fans and critics have largely applauded our efforts means the absolute world to us."
With news of the sales bolstering team morale, the developers are already hard at work on the game's first content update bringing the Nobitsura Kage from the original Shadow Warrior into the newly released sequel.
Two further free updates will bring new missions, weapons and a challenge mode at a later date.
