A Reddit user (whose information has subsequently been deleted) may have revealed a lot of new information about Titanfall 2.
The Reddit user did not disclose his source, and even if he or she did, we can’t say for certain whether this information is real. The leak claims there are lots of new pilot abilities, including a grappling hook. The grappling hook is supposedly to be used extensively, you can use it for getting around the level when free-running, pulling pilots out of the air and for getting into your titan.
The leak also mentions a pre-order bonus handgun named “the Violator”. It sounds like Titanfall will be increasing the player count in the maps from twelve to something higher, as the leak indicates that the multiplayer maps are bigger. The larger maps would almost certainly require a grappling hook, as traversing in the first Titanfall game was quite slow (though the maps were smaller to compensate).

Titanfall 2 was announced back in April. We’ll have more information relating to this game on June 12th, the first day of EA Play, a three-day off-site event.
