R.B.I. Baseball is a franchise that rose like a phoenix from the ashes under the care and guidance Major League Baseball. It is slowing down in the least. Rather, it’s coming back for another round. R.B.I. Baseball 16 has been announced for this year on consoles and PC.
The newest edition was revealed and a new website for the game has appeared. R.B.I. 16 will have some new features, such as a batch simulator that can take players directly to the postseason in career modes. Players will have access to both 16-man R.B.I rosters and 40-man real-life rosters. Finally, pitching, batting, and defense are to be reworked and optimized to give a truer to life feel.
R.B.I. Baseball is one of only a few titles actually licensed by the MLB organization and certainly one of slim official pickings that can be played on PC. The coming edition is sure to be interesting to anyone who has a love for the ball game and would love to play with their favorite teams and current roster players. At this time, it appears that R.B.I. Baseball 16 will be up for digital purchase only.
The game is slated to release sometime in Spring of 2016.
