Blue Isle Studios, developers of the horror game Slender: The Arrival, are creating a radically different game – Valley. Valley is an action-exploration game that challenges players to uncover powerful secrets in a vast world. Players will try to uncover these secrets with the help of the L.E.A.F (Leap Effortlessly through Air Functionality) suit: an exoskeleton that grants players the ability to move at incredible speeds, jump higher, and grants you the power to not only kill but also revive the dead.
Here are some of Valley’s features (taken from the press release):
• Move faster, jump higher: make your way through the world of Valley™ using the incredible speed and agility of the L.E.A.F. suit.
• Manipulate life and death: the L.E.A.F. suit grants its pilots the phenomenal power to both give and take life from any living thing.
• Experience a unique twist on death: the more you die, the more the valley will die around you.
• Enhance yourself: upgrade your suit with new abilities and strengths.
• Explore: the world of Valley™ is filled with forests, wildlife, ancient ruins, charming creatures, dangerous enemies and other mysteries.
With the L.E.A.F suit, players will be exploring through dense forests, leaping between structures and deciding whether something lives or dies. That’s quite a big responsibility, so make sure you are prepared if you wish to wield the power of the L.E.A.F suit.
Valley is scheduled for release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime in Summer 2016.
