Following the events of the incredible Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Adam Jensen explains the plot of the latest game, Mankind Divided.
The trailer does a good job of explaining how the gameplay works, but we imagine the story may be a bit confusing if you haven’t played the previous game. Jensen’s powers have improved dramatically thanks to him receiving more implants than he thought he did, basically a convenient way for Eidos Montreal to give him more abilities. In the trailer we get to witness some of Jensen’s new powers, including: the ability to turn invisible, to the point where security laser beams can’t detect his movement; a new augmentation to his arm that allows him to shoot some type of energy cannon; and some new hacking abilities making infiltrating a lot easier.
Alongside this trailer, Square Enix have released details about the four versions of the game you can purchase: Boxed editions of the Day One Edition ($59.99/£39.99) and the Collector’s Edition ($139.99/£109.99); the Digital Editions include the Day One Edition ($59.99/£39.99) and the Digital Deluxe Edition ($89.99/£69.99). The Day One editions come with an extra in-game mission, some items to help at the beginning of the game, a digital version of the soundtrack and some digital books. The Deluxe Edition includes all of this content plus a nine inch Adam Jensen figure, a forty-eight page art book and a steel book. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the same content as the Day One Edition as well as a season pass.
