A Bandai Namco Entertainment representative has confirmed that Tekken 7 will make its way onto PC and Xbox One. This confirms what fans have been expecting for a while now, especially considering the news two months ago which suggested a PC port of Tekken 7 may be in the works.
Tekken 7 has already been released in Japanese arcades. A release date has yet to be confirmed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, though we expect to hear something at E3 soon. Street Fighter fans may want to look out for the latest entry in the Tekken series, as fan favourite Akuma makes an appearance in the game. Not only is Akuma in the game, he actually plays a large part in the story.
With Tekken 7 being PC bound, that makes it the first Tekken game to ever release on this platform. Technically speaking, Street Fighter x Tekken was released for PC, but that was a Capcom developed fighting game.
Special thanks goes to The Inner Circle Games Network for confirming the story.
