While the PC beta of Destiny 2 may be coming a long while after its now passed console counterpart, we can thank or controller brethren for their time; their work means our own beta test should be a little more balanced.
In the latest 'The Week at Bungie' blog update, the team has roughly outlined how feedback from the console beta will come into effect with the PC beta client - namely secondary and special weapon ammunition.
They don't dish out the important details of this particular change, but they are encouraged double-dippers to see if they can spot the subtle changes. Other than that, we're getting more of the same; Oh, except we're getting a new map - the Control PvP stage 'Javelin-4'.

Then here comes the worrisome part - for some of us, at least. Due to the nature of game files and the ease of injector software usage on the PC platform, Bungie have outlined that steps taken to shut down hackers before they start ruining the fun means certain popular pieces of gaming software won't function with Destiny 2 - namely OBS and XSplit's main video capturing module or hardware/FPS overlays like FRAPS and MSI Afterburner.
For those hoping to stream their gameplay, you can still use the above programs to do screen and window capturing - which shouldn't really be a problem anyway. But if you're running more complex stream setups, you'll likely have to tweak things a little for this.
The Destiny 2 beta runs from August 28-31. The first day, however, is reserved for pre-order holders only.
