Following a massive hype train that wrestled with controversy upon release, Hello Games have been doing everything within their reach to keep No Man's Sky alive - and to make up for the miscommunication that led to the ambitious space sim being regarded as far more ambitious than it was ever meant to be.
Though the last major update saw No Man's Sky regain some traction and make up for lost time, the last few weeks have seen a simple enough ARG suggest there's still more to come.
Dishing out 180 free copies of the game and sending mysteriously numbered cassette tapes to community influences, the clues have finally started to tie together. Thanks to those continuing to crack the case of the ARG surrounding No Man's Sky, a PDF file has been uncovered hinting at the impending release of Patch 1.3.

Upon thinking the fans for their efforts, the PDF file reads; "We intend to keep the process alive until the completion of Project Waking Titan in August. It is important to mention that we are very excited by the coming Phases 2 and 3. Input from the Mercury Subroutine will pave the way toward new experiences in version 1.3 of a familiar universe. We look forward to the successful conclusion of this ground-breaking experiment. Regards. S.M"
