World of Warcraft has managed to climb its way up to the 7.X set of patches with the release of the Legion expansion last year. We may not have Patch 7.2 for a few months yet, but a recent hotfix brings a few class changes that give off a minor feeling of patch day.
And by few - we really mean a few. We're looking at single changes for Druids, Priest and Shaman with a whopping two changes for Hunter.
Aside from the class changes seen below, there's a secondary change for Shaman that's specifically tied to PvP scenarios. Somehow that one was being knocked down twice by negative healing effects like Mortal Wounds and other skills that would specifically reduce the healing its target could receive. Swelling Waves is a trait that was used specifically on the affected Shaman, so they stood little chance when being wailed on by a Warrior in certain roles.
World of Warcraft Patch 7.15 Has Arrived - But What Does It Offer?
- Druid
- (Guardian) Rage of the Sleeper should no longer be able to damage friendly targets.
- Hunter
- Bestial Ferocity can now critically strike.
- On the Trail can now critically strike.
- Priest
- Reaper of Souls no longer incorrectly increases the damage of Shadow Word: Death.
- Shaman
- Greater Earth Elemental now correctly pulses Earth Elemental threat to a 15-yard radius.
- Player vs Player
- The healing of Swelling Waves should no longer be negatively double-penalized by negative healing modifiers such as Mortal Wounds or Dampening.
- Quests
- (Hotfix in testing) Corrupted Essence drop rates have been increased for "Essence of Power".
- Arcanist Ryanna should now be visible while on the quest, "The Nightborne Apprentice."
So there's the lot! Obviously, if you're looking for that larger side of the class changes, you might want to help out with the Patch 7.2 testing on the PTR. You'll likely get a lot more early content out of that, too, but you'll be retracing a lot of old ground once the finalized release takes place, though.
