The latest season of Game of Thrones isn most certainly well underway. Turning every Sunday/Monday into a battlezone across social media, it's the time of year where people eagerly anticipate the end of the weekend.
As per usual, however, it doesn't last long. Typically lasting around 8-10 episodes, it feels like we're waiting for the next season as soon as the last has started. Telltale may have an answer to that.
Released way back in 2014 - around the time of Season 4 - Telltale Games put out an episodic Game of Thrones adventure title in much the same style as their past, current and future hits. Somehow severely less talked about than most of its other titles, the six-part Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series isn't a retelling of past events, but an entirely new story revolving around House Forrester, a smaller family loyal to the well-known Starks of Winterfell. There's a lot of familiar faces, whether they're Starks or not.

Racking up 'Mostly Positive' reviews on Steam, players will tell you it still carries that true Game of Thrones vibe - buckets of blood, and a lot of backstabbing drama. At six episodes, there should be a lot to sink your teeth into here. It likely won't last you until the next - and final - season of the TV show, but it'll stave off the shakes a little longer.
And why are we talking about a three year old game right now? Because it's 80% off on Steam until tomorrow. That's a lot of story for under £5 and likely one most Game of Thrones fans should at least try out. Prior knowledge of the TV show/books is almost mandatory, and that should be a big plus for fans. It's relevant.
