Total War: Warhammer II is coming up very soon, but there's time enough for a brand new trailer, showing off the Warhammer equivalent of the South Americas in the New World, between Naggaroth and Lustria. The trailer can be seen here or embedded at the end of this post.
Check out our hands-on impressions of the new Skaven campaign for Total War: Warhammer II!
Here's where Total War: Warhammer 3 will be set and what races we can expect!
The New World of Warhammer boasts such fantastic areas such as the jungle city of Hexoatl and the Elven haven of Lothern, both of which can be seen in the trailer. Creative Assembly have really gone to town in modelling the fantastic architecture and ancient jungles of the continent, which of course will be the setting of fantastic battles. There are also many areas left cold and desolate, all scarred from the effects of anarchic dark magic
The trailer also shows a few of the new graphical effects Creative Assembly have added to Total War: Warhammer 2, to make an already stunning display even sweeter. These include improved screen space ambient occlusion (SSAO) and the new volumetric fog system which produces god ray effects.
You can get the full range of graphics settings along with the Total War: Warhammer II system requirements right here. We've even checked out the game for ourselves, getting some hands-on impressions of the new Skaven faction.
Total War: Warhammer II will launch on September 28. If you own the original and pre-order you can get the Norsca DLC for the original for free, and you’ll be able to play as them in the new game too.
