Being the middle of March, it means we've reached the first year of Epic Games' entry into the MOBA race. Typically known for their hyper violent 'Bro Shooters' like Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, Paragon is the team's take on using the newest iteration of their mega-popular Unreal Engine to create a MOBA title that isn't all cartoony visuals and top-down gameplay.
Available on both PC and PlayStation 4 for a year now, it's time we start keeping track of just about everything happening within the game itself. Being a MOBA title, players expect a new character around once a month leading to a squad-based strategy title buckling under the weight of its own numbers. To aid in that, we'll be focusing on detailing each patch going forward, and we're starting with the Year Anniversary update.
Paragon Patch Notes - V.38.3
The One Year Anniversary update brings changes to around 20 heroes while introducing yet another - Yin; yet another melee character, but one with slightly more range than her current 2017 counterparts. Banners can be purchased and placed upon enemy kills and tower debris and we see the first leg of changes to the Card system ahead of a full overhaul planned for the future.
