There's too many versions of the Warhammer 40,000 board/war game franchise for the average joe to keep track of, but for those well versed in its expansive history, there's another video game adaption on the way!
Announced as a new partnership following the successful collaboration on Modheim: City of the Damned, Focus Home Interactive and Rogue Factor have secured the rights to bring Necromunda: Underhive Wars to PC and consoles at a later date.
“Rogue Factor's collaboration with Focus and Games Workshop is a story of trust, hard work, and true passion for the Warhammer Universe." said Yves Bordeleau, General Manager at Rogue Factor; "After a strong launch on PC and consoles, and an incredible experience with many lessons learned, the way was paved for our next step in conquering the tactical RPG genre: Necromunda: Underhive Wars."
Grombrindal The White Dwarf Is Now Available for All Total War: Warhammer Players
Based around the Necromunda tablet-top game, it's another score for Focus Home Interactive with their continued deals with the Games Workshop-owned franchise. Penned as yet another brutal turn-based tactical RPG within the Warhammer mythos, Underhive Wars tells the never-ending tale of a war waged for control over the Underhive - a place consisting of nothing but derelict and abandoned industrial ventures.
Promising to unveil more at the upcoming What's Next de Focus event in Paris next month, we'll likely catch our first glimpse of gameplay there.
