With Gamescom just around the corner, we're starting to hear a little more about what each major publisher will bring to Europe's biggest gaming event.
Daedalic Entertainment may have announced plans to share further information about Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth there a few months ago now, but they'll be showing off a couple of other indie games, too.
On the mainstream side of things, they'll be showing off a console version of 2012's Chaos on Deponia - a rare treat for any console player looking for a humorous point & click adventure game. But for PC users looking for something new, they've got your back too. Just not with another Deponia game.

Daedalic Announced AER Back In 2015 For A 2016 Release - Now Look Where We Are
AER: Memories of Old will be playable at the Indie Arena Booth in Hall 10 (Gamescom is big) for those intrigued by the idea of becoming a bird and flapping their wings around some vibrant floating islands. It's a highly stylised exploration game nullifies any major obstacles with the power of flight. Run across the islands on foot or take to the skies for a better view of its minimalist environemnt. It's a puzzle game, essentially, full of little secrets and puzzles.
The best part about Gamescom - or any gaming show - is playing a bunch of pre-release titles. With AER: Memories of Old still having a strict 2017 placeholder, you could be playing this one many months before the rest of us! As for Chaos on Deponia, you'll be playing it 5 years late. Balance!
