Update: After waiting around a week, Diablo III's latest add-on pack - Rise of the Necromancer - is live. Though the new class will set players back around £13/$15, multiple new zones and features have been pushed into the live game for free.
Already a player? You can pick up the Necromancer class pack through this link. If you have yet to venture through Sanctuary, there's a generous free trial available here. To read up on the specifics of the new add-on pack and update, read on down below.
Original Post: After a beta release back in April, the Necromancer class will go live on Diablo III after next week's regular maintenance on June 27.
Regardless of whether you played the new class during the beta or not, you'll be expected to shell out $15 for the class unlock with additional character and stash slots thrown in amongst other cosmetics to sweeten a deal likely to cheese a few people off.
The 'Rise of the Necromancer' pack signals the first new class to be added to Blizzard's Action-RPG sequel since the Reaper of Souls expansion pack and it's Crusader back in 2014. While running at an extra cost, the update will bring Challenge Rifts and new zones for free to those who own the base game and its first (and only) expansion.

There's no physical release for this one, so expect to log into your usual Blizzard channels to grab the Necromancer class if that's your thing. If you're just hyped to take your own characters through some new zones, however, simply log in at around 12-1am June 27 (if you're in Europe, at least) and you should be able to download the patch as the weekly maintenance winds down.
If you've been away from Diablo III for some time now, Blizzard have pieced together a number of blog posts about the new class and zones for you to read here and here.
