It feels like we've been waiting on Koei Tecmo to out Berserk & The Band Of The Hawk for far too long now. Ever impatient, it eases our minds to have the company put out a few new screenshots to give another look at what amount of gore will hit our screens when it finally does land - still image or not.
Much like many other games stemming from Omega Force, Berserk & The Band of the Hawk follows in the footsteps of their past work with the Dynasty Warriors series. With just about any action franchise getting a Warriors game lately, this one arguably makes the most sense. This and Fist of the North Star - but that basically already happened.
Putting you in control of the sword-slamming Guts isn't your only opportunity to throw down with a near endless army of enemies. Taking place across the 'Golden Age Arc alll the way to the 'Hawk of the Millennium' chapter, you'll be able to control any of the main characters from each story as witness its events from a different perspective.

To supplement this, it's only right to delve into the details of some of the more explosive abilities you'll put to use as you wander the warzone with blade in tow. Mow down your enemies to access your character's 'Awakened' state in which they'll gain an attack worthy of their new armor. Guts buts the appropriately named Berserker Armor to use with a flurry of deadly blows while Griffith’s demonic Femto form deals quick bursts of damage leaving Zodd’s Apostle form ready to effortlessly topple foes.
Only focusing on the Awakened powers of Guts, Femto and Zodd for now, we're sure to see more before the game finally releases onto Steam to bloody up our monitors February 21.
