While it certainly feels like more than a month ago now, Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock was a secret to the players longer than it was to the press.
Making a splash with its reveal last month, the avid Battlestar Galactica fanbase were understandably hungry for more. They didn't know much more than the title and rough plot of this video game revival of a show that ended years ago. That'll change soon.
Likely expecting it to make a grand appearance during E3 this month - at the PC Gamer Show, at least - Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock was noticeably absent from each and every showreel. Why? Well, we'll never really know. But what we do know is developers Slitherine are planning a reveal event for the next few days.
Story Spoilers For Visceral Games' Star Wars Title May Have Just Leaked
On June 28 at 8pm CEST (11am PST) players are invited to join Slitherine on YouTube, Twitch or Mixer to tune into the 'Gameplay Reveal' livestream. As an extra little tease, they released a 15 second video that could have included a flash montage of intergalactic dogfighting. Instead, it's just a space render while someone reaffirms the date and time of the event. Mean!
We're not going to repeat ourselves with that we've already published, so if you're behind on the Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock news, check out the story primer over here.
