Injustice 2 is coming to PC very soon, and Warner Bros have just released a gameplay trailer for the next DLC character - Hellboy, the first non-DC comic book character to come to the series. They also revealed the release date for him. All the details are below.

You can watch the Hellboy gameplay trailerhere or embedded below. It shows Hellboy, looking the most comic book-like of all the Injustice characters, facing off against the likes of Rage Lantern Atrocitus, Cyborg, and the Scarecrow. Special Moves shown including shooting Hellboy's gun, summoning vines to paralyze opponents, and some sort of invincibility where Hellboy unleashes his hell powers. His Super Move literally punches his opponent all the way to Hell, which is nice.
The release date for the Hellboy DLC is November 14, which is the same week as the Justice League movie. We strongly suspect that Injustice 2 on PC will launch that week too as it would be the perfect time to do it, so PC owners might get the Hellboy DLC the same time as console owners for once.
Hellboy was created in the '90s by Mike Mignola. He's had two well-received movies, in 2004 and 2008, directed by Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, Pacific Rim) and starring Ron Perlman. Sadly there will not be any more movies in that series, but there will be a more comic book-accurate reboot coming in 2019 called Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen starring David Harbour and directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent).
Injustice 2 came out on PS4 and Xbox One in May this year and the PC version was announced earlier this week, although the promised PC beta on October 25 was postponed. We'll have more information as we get it.
