Seemingly never without new information to drop on its would-be players, Paradox Interactive and Eugen have issued the first in-engine trailer for their upcoming WWII RTS title - Steel Division: Normandy 44.
With the title scheduled to release within the year, it still comes as a surprise to have so much information spilling out so soon after its announcement.
The entire emphasis of the game is to offer up a realistic approach to commanding a World War II skirmish with realistic unit models from anything to tanks to individual troops. Keeping up on the idea, each of its battlegrounds uses historical imagery to perfectly recreate how the field would have looked before and after a bout.
Steel Division: Normandy 44 Brings The 'Dynamic Front Line' To Deliver Live Feedback Of Your War
Bringing a new version of their signature 'IRISZOOM' engine means historical accuracy is something they can't cut corners with, either, as players are capable of zooming out for a wide-angle shot of the battlefield down before or zoom in to the the individual details of each troop.
