Boss Key’s latest title, Radical Heights, is attempting to take on the battle royale craze that has hit video games. So far the game has received mixed reviews, although Radical Heights is still in the “Xtreme” early stages of development. Just like in Fortnite, Radical Heights is free to play, but you can purchase in-game items and in-game emotes.

With patch #2 there are new items and features being added into Radical Heights. One super cool addition is The Scanner. When deployed, the scanner will show the last location of enemies within the radius. The scanner is only temporary but can swing a fight towards your favor. A few other additions include bike ramps, more in-game customizations, and the ability to view your character from all angles.

So far there is no date in sight for squads as Boss Key is focusing on solo and duo queues and will scale up in the future as they are able to, according to one of the developers within a forum post. Boss Key is currently working on other options like ADS sensitivity, ammo splitting, a new game show event, and more. Hopefully, we will see something soon about squads!

Performance optimizations when switching to and from aim down sight or scope view

Duos: Fixed parties disbanding after each match.

Improved server region selection:

Fixed issue where no region could be selected if pings were too high

Prize Room: All customization options have been merged into the Prize Room.

BMX Bikes

Increased pitch up/down air control.

Variable jump height: tap for a small jump to avoid small obstacles or hold & release for a fully charged jump.

New Gadget: Scanner!

This gadget scans enemies in a large radius around the player. Enemies detected have their location at the time they were scanned revealed on the player’s minimap temporarily.
