Awesome Games Done Quick, the annual charity speedrun event, is underway right now. Sponsored by several companies such as Humble Bundle, Namco, and Devolver Digital, the effort takes place in Hilton Washington Dulles in Herndon, Virginia, United States, but is transmitted worldwide via Twitch. At the time of writing, the contributors are playing Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
This year, like the previous seven, AGDQ is helping raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a US-based charity and one of the leading US health organizations devoted to the early detection and prevention of cancer. Last year, the stream raised $2,222,791, of which $1 million was in a single day. You can watch the stream -- and more importantly donate -- on the Games Done Quick website.
