Radical Heights, a new battle royale game from Boss Key Productions currently in Early Access has already become a highly popular project. Like the two top dogs on the battle royale scene, PUBG and Fortnite, this game also started soaring before being a complete product, and while Radical Heights shows promise with a unique visual style and some tweaks to the basic formula of the genre, it still has a long way to go.
One of the most annoying issues in the current version of the game is a debilitating graphical bug which causes the screen to constantly flicker or outright turn a single solid green color, rendering the game unplayable. It’s a fairly common issue, but also fairly easy to solve. The problem is related whether you’re playing in windowed mode or full screen.
While which setting is the broken one and which works varies depending on what GPU your system is running, and what kind of display setup you have, in all cases this is the setting which needs to be changed to fix the error. It’s pretty simple - just use whichever one doesn’t give you the flickers. Simply navigate to the options sub-menu from the main menu, select the third tab for video settings and check what your Main Menu and In Match window settings are.
As we said above, your setup may affect what works and what doesn’t, but Borderless Windowed seems to be the most common working setting. Make sure both are set to the same option, as you’ll just cause more graphical bugs if they’re not in sync. Radical Heights is still very much a work in progress, and as this is a high-profile bug, you can expect it to be addressed soon.
