SEGA and Two Point Studios have released the first full gameplay video of Two Point Hospital, their spiritual successor to Bullfrog's classic Theme Hospital - that several members of the studio, including founders Gary Carr and Mark Webley, helped create.
This footage is narrated by Mark Webley and designer Ben Huskins, who worked with Mark and Gary at Lionhead Studios.
Check out our first impressions of Two Point Hospital!
You can check out the gameplay here or embedded below. It shows a quick overview of getting started in Two Point Hospital, such as building a reception desk, GP's office, and the basics, and will look very familiar (happily so) for any fans of Theme Hospital. A little later in the video they'll move into more advanced stages, with interesting diseases such as Grey Anatomy, Light-Headedness and Curse of the Mummy.
Of particular note is the characters - they all seem to have distinct personalities, from doctors who celebrate by dancing to patients desperately banging on doors. A ghost appears at one point, who is promptly sucked up by a vacuum cleaner, and even basics like a blood-testing machine and X-ray are given an amusing makeover.
We certainly can't wait for Two Point Hospital, and we'll have an interview with the founders of Two Point Studios soon.
