From January 29th until February 2nd, the people behind PUBG are teaming up with Extra Life to raise $300,000 for sick and injured Kids in the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital System. This is part of the company's commitment to put to good use the money raised from Gamescom Invitational Crate Keys.
According to the announcement, $2 Million from 2017’s Gamecom Crate Key sales will be donated to multiple charities, includng Extra Life, Gamers Outreach, and an additional one later in 2018, all during charity streams. Aside from the one in this article, the company has already donated $100,000 for the Twitch PUBG Winter Invitation in December 2017 and will be working with Gamers Outreach to host a 2018 LAN Tournament in April 28-29, 2018.
