DARQ release date has now officially been revealed, and it is somewhat in-line with the developer’s earlier expectations on when the game would finally be coming out.
As it stands, DARQ is slated to launch in the middle of August, even though the more optimistic outlook was to have it out by the end of July. According to the developers, this extra time was necessary as to deliver a more polished end-product.
“We’re excited to announce that DARQ will launch on Steam on August 15th,” said the developers in a recent blog post. “If you were expecting the game in July - our apologies for the delay. We needed this extra time to test the game properly & polish things up before the launch.”
This gravity-bending side-scroller will launch with:
- cloud saves
- achievements
- full controller support
- trading cards
- 19 localisation options
