War Hospital, a story-driven management and survival game by NACON and Brave Lamb Studio, is set to launch on January 11, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
In War Hospital, you command a field hospital during the first World War. Your duty is to care for the incoming wounded, strategically manage your medical staff, and efficiently allocate resources to keep the hospital running. Think Theme Hospital or Two Point Hospital but without the humour, this one is all serious.
War Hospital set for release on 11 January 2024
“Combining aspects of real-time strategy games and survival games, War Hospital is a unique single-player management game in which players need to make choices to progress.” says developer Brave Lamb Studio.
“The gameplay is based on managing a field hospital while overseeing the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers during the First World War. By stepping into the shoes of Major Henry Wells, the player is taking charge of a British field hospital in a fictitious town in the north of France.” it concluded.
Back in October NACON announced that it would delay War Hospital until early 2024, so this news confirms the updated release date which allowed the team to “make the game as deep and realistic as possible while respecting the subject it deals with”.
