Hooded Horse has confirmed that its dark fantasy city builder strategy game, Against the Storm, will be coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on June 26. QLOC has been brought on board to pick up the challenge of bringing Against the Storm to consoles.
“Against The Storm is simply one of the best city-builders in years” is what we said in our review back when it was released for the PC in early access on Steam in 2023. It’s been a bit of a wait for the console ports, but they are finally within sight.
When is Against the Storm releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
A new wave of viceroys will get to experience this popular city builder, joining the efforts to rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. Players will lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization’s last survivors. The UI has been completely overhauled for consoles, ensuring that newcomers have a smooth experience while fulfilling their duty to the Scorched Queen.
