Fallout 76’s The Big Bloom event refreshes 2025’s busy calendar with a host of new spring-themed activities and rewards that, between its start and end dates, complement our usual post-apocalyptic shenanigans.
Initially slated to start in late April while ending in May, FO76’s The Big Bloom was delayed by a whole week by Bethesda, as the team behind its popular multiplayer game works to ensure a smooth experience for everyone jumping in.
Fallout 76 The Big Bloom 2025 Start and End Dates
“Our new Fallout 76 seasonal event, The Big Bloom, will now begin on May 6,” reads a post on the publisher’s official website.
- Fallout 76 The Big Bloom 2025 event start date: May 6
- Fallout 76 The Big Bloom 2025 event end date: May 20 (GameWatcher estimation)
“The reason for this date change is because we have prepared a game stability hotfix that we want to have go out with the start of this new event.
The Mothman Equinox event saw players reporting “game instability leading to crashes” that “corroborated the data we saw on our end.” Following an investigation, the team has identified the issue and is currently in the process of having the fix “tested and certified.”
Aside from making sure Fallout 76’s The Big Bloom event goes live without a hitch, the hotfix “will also provide a fix for those who were stuck on ‘The Catalyst’ questline and address instances where players were disconnected from the game while interacting with the Ammo Storage Box,” which sounds pretty dandy.
FO76’s The Big Bloom 2025 event was originally slated to last for two whole weeks. Should that still be the case, we currently expect its end date to occur on May 20.
This gives us plenty of time to hunt down floral monstrosities and nab spring-themed rewards while they’re around. That is what we know so far about Fallout 76 The Big Bloom 2025 event, its start dates, and rewards.
