Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition successfully revitalized a real-time strategy classic when it launched back in 2019 and has been expanding constantly ever since. The upcoming Dynasties of India expansion gives players more to look forward to in 2022, making its release date certainly worth tracking.
When Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition - Dynasties of India’s release date come around, the title will receive three new playable civilizations – the Bengalis, Dravidians, and Gurjaras – alongside three new campaigns that add 15 missions.

Nine new units are on the way, including the Ratha – a sturdy chariot with both a ranged and melee mode –, the massive Thirisadai ship, and the Shrivamsha Rider – a swift cavalry unit capable of dodging enemy attacks.
The good news is that we won’t have too long to wait before we can use these units in and outside of the new campaigns. Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition - Dynasties of India has locked down its release date to April 28.
